This busy site, with a large play area filled with equipment, is ideal for young families. It is about 2 km. from Bidart and 2.5 km. from a sandy beach. There are two swimming pools with slides on the main site, while across the road there is an indoor heated pool and new spa complex (charged in July/August) with outdoor fitness equipment. There are 480 pitches with many units for hire and 14 for touring units. They are individual, marked and of a good size, either on flat terraces or around the lake. The terrain is wooded so the great majority of them have some shade. Electrical connections are available throughout. The site has a number of steep slopes to negotiate.

Entertainment is provided in the main season, with organised daytime sports and evening entertainment nightly in season. The site is popular with tour operators. There is also a little lake, where fishing is possible, in the area at the bottom of the site, which has a very pleasant open aspect and includes a large play area.

Shop, large self-service restaurant with takeaway and bar with terraces, and TV, outdoor swimming pools, indoor heated pool and spa complex (all open all season). Sauna. Large play area. Two tennis courts (free outside July/Aug). Fitness track. TV and games rooms. Minigolf. Fishing. Small animal sanctuary. Only gas barbecues permitted (communal available). WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping le Ruisseau des Pyrénées

Site is east of Bidart on a minor road towards Arbonne. From A63 autoroute take Biarritz exit (4), turn towards St Jean-de-Luz and Bidart on N10. After Intermarché turn left at roundabout and follow signs to site.
