Camping Le Pequelet is located in Salavas, France, within the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and right next to the Ardèche River. It is an excellent destination for those who want to experience the beauty of the Ardèche department, known for its natural wonders like the Chauvet Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The campsite offers a variety of options for campers, including 60 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. Pitches are well-shaded by mature trees and delimited by mature hedging, giving privacy to each pitch. There are also 34 accommodation options available to hire.

The campsite has a number of amenities on-site, including a swimming pool, a paddling pool, and a children's playground. A bar with a terrace overlooks the swimming pool, which serves quick bites to eat and regularly holds entertainment in the evenings, such as live music and themed dinners during the summer months. Bicycle hire is also available directly from the campsite, making it a great location to explore the surrounding area at your own leisurely pace. For those who like to be active whilst on holiday the campsite offers a tennis court for a competitive game or two as well as table tennis and petanque. The campsite is located close to a number of shops and restaurants, and there is a market in the nearby village of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc. Campers also have direct access to the river, which has a private beach perfect for sunbathing. You can also go kayaking or canoeing and explore the area via the river.

The arch is simply stunning, and there are a number of ways to see it, including from a boat, from the beach below, or from one of the viewpoints above.
