Camping le Parc is a small and peaceful site just 35 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the Côte d’Azur, where you will receive a warm welcome by the owners. Set in the heart of Provence, there are about 120 mostly level pitches, 55 of which are a good size for touring (all with 10A electricity), the remainder taken by mobile homes and chalets for rent or privately owned. Pitches are partly shaded by oak trees which let enough sunlight through to give an open feel to the site. It is a good base for visiting the nearby Provençal hilltop villages with colourful markets. These might include Fayence, Seillans (classed as one of the most beautiful villages in France), Caillan and Montauroux.

If you are a beach lover this may not be the site for you, due to the heavy traffic near the coast in high season, which could make the journey a lengthy one. However, there is a beautiful lake eight kilometres away for fishing and swimming. This is pleasant area for walking and the tourist office in Fayence can provide route maps for a small fee.

One central toilet block, partly heated in low season. Good accessible facilities. Laundry. Bar, restaurant, takeaway (July/Aug). Small shop for essentials (bread to order). Swimming pool (May-Sept), paddling pool and jacuzzi (June-Aug). Play area. Trampoline. Minigolf (charged). Floodlit tennis court. Multisports court. Volleyball. Boules. Children’s club and low key entertainment for the family (July/Aug). Torches useful. WiFi throughout (charged).

Directions to Camping le Parc

Leave A8 at exit 39 and head north on D37 towards Montauroux for 9 km, then turn east on the D562. After 4 km. turn south towards Saint-Paul en Forêt for 1.5 km. Site is signed on the left 400 m. up a small road.
