Camping Le Merval is  located in Puyravault, Vendée, France. It is in the heart of the Marais Poitevin, a wetland area known for its canals and waterways. The campsite is an excellent base for exploring the Vendée region, with easy access to the beaches of the Atlantic coast. The campsite offers a variety of accommodation options, including  17 touring pitches, which are spacious and shaded, and many have electric hook-up points. 

The campsite has many amenities to keep you entertained during your stay. There is an outdoor swimming pool, a paddling pool, a playground, and table tennis. There is also a snack bar on site serving a variety of different options to suit all tastes. During the summer months, activities are regularly organised for children, including games and creative crafts. Children can also enjoy engaging with the campsite animals, which include goats, chickens, and horses. The highlight of the animal farm is the horse is which campsite guests can take  themfor walks along the campsite paths. 

The Marais Poitevin, also known as the Green Venice, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a must-visit for any nature lover. This wetland area is crisscrossed by canals and waterways, which you can explore by boat, bike, or foot. There are also several charming villages to explore in the Marais Poitevin, such as Coulon, Niort, and Marans. The Atlantic coast is just a short drive from Puyravault, and there are several beautiful beaches to enjoy. Some of the most popular beaches in the area include La Rochelle, Châtelaillon-Plage, and Fouras.
