Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Martinet
Only Camp le Martinet is located between the Loire river and the Briare canal, just ten minutes from the picturesque town of Briare with its famous bridge. The site is well laid out with hardcore roads and 160 grass touring pitches. These are surrounded by low hedging and trees provide some shade. Electricity and water points are easily accessible. A little English is spoken and what the site lacks in the way of facilities, it makes up for in its tranquillity, views and walking opportunities.
Although on-site facilities are limited, you will find a full range of shops and restaurants in the town.

One central toilet block is well appointed and modern and includes free showers. Facilities for children. Laundry facilities. Motorhome services. Visiting snack van. Small play area. Outdoor swimming pool, Table tennis, Mini golf, Free WiFi around reception area. Pets allowed.

Leave the A77 south of Gien at exit 20 for Briare. Site is 2 km. to the northwest of Briare and is well signed from the D952.
