Alan Rogers Review of Camping le Lanfonnet
Camping le Lanfonnet is situated on the eastern shore of Lac d’Annecy, close to the pretty town of Talloires, which hosts arts and literary events and spectacular ‘pyroconcerts’ on the lake. The site has 132 grassy pitches on two levels, 100 for touring units. Most have 3/10A electricity and shade from mature trees. There are 32 chalets to rent. A public beach is 200 m. away. There are many opportunites for those wishing to walk, cycle or climb in the surrounding area.
Angon, with its beautiful waterfall walk, is around 2 km. south of Talloires, while Annecy is around 15 km. away has a wealth of historic buildings, most notably the Palais de l’Isle. The winter sport resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz can both be reached in around 30 minutes.
Facilities at Camping le Lanfonnet
There are two sanitary blocks, both require refurbishment and will be stretched in high season. Shop with limited stock (July/Aug). Across the road from the site but affiliated to it is the restaurant, bar and snack bar/takeaway (all season). Small play area. WiFi in some areas (free).
Directions to Camping le Lanfonnet
From the north (Annecy), take D909 along the eastern shores of the lake and continue past Talloires towards Faverges until Angon. The site is clearly signed to the right.
