Camping le Helles
France, Brittany, Finistère, Combrit
Alan Rogers Review
This is a delightful site with a very French feel. Out of its 130 pitches, 100 are used for touring (6/10A electricity). The pitches are grassy, level and generous in size, but with little division by hedges. Mature trees offering shade surround large open areas of numbered pitches. Mobile homes are in an area of their own. Facilities on this site are excellent and the swimming pool with surrounding terrace provides a main feature. A gate at the back of the touring area leads to the beach, which is just 300 m. away.
The village of Sainte Marine is close by and a little further is the port of Combrit with shops, bars and restaurants. The large seaside resort of Benodet is a ten minute drive away.
Excellent sanitary facilities include washbasins in cabins and controllable showers (some also with washbasin). Baby room and facilities for disabled visitors. Laundry facilities. Fresh bread and newspapers daily (July/Aug). Takeaway (July/Aug). New swimming pool. Play area. Boules. Children’s club (4-12 yrs, July/Aug). WiFi (free).
LocationTravelling west on D44 from Bénodet turn south on to C18 signed Combrit St Marine. Site is well signed at entry to village. Link to campsite location map on google
