Camping Le Fun is located on the shores of Leucate Lake in the Aude department of France. It's known for its friendly, family atmosphere and is an excellent destination for those who enjoy water sports. Situated near Port Leucate and the town of Leucate, the campsite is close to beautiful beaches and the charming village of Fitou. The campsite has 140 grass/hardstanding pitches, of which 90 are for touring units and have a 10-amp hook-up point, 10 seasonal, and there are 40 mobile homes or safari tents available for hire. Pitches are delimited by large olive and pine trees, providing much-needed shade during the summer.

This campsite is popular with those who enjoy windsurfing and kitesurfing. Depending on which area of Leucate Lake you go to, anyone can quickly learn the sport. This is also where they hold the Mondial du Vent, a six-day event of international windsurfing and kitesurfing competitions. For those looking for a more relaxing holiday, there is a large swimming pool on site with plenty of deck chairs and sun loungers. There is also a separate toddler pool for younger campers to enjoy.

There are plenty of restaurants in the area to enjoy throughout your holiday, especially at Port Leucate. This is where you'll find the best spots for mussels which is the speciality of the region. But Perpignan or Narbonne are also great places to eat out. Why not combine your meal with a day trip to these beautiful historic cities?

Directions to Camping Le Fun

From the A9/E15 exit 40 join the RN9. At the next junction join the D6009/RN9 in the direction of Perpignan. The site is then on the left off this road and is signed.
