This attractive and well managed site is owned and run by a Dutch holiday company. A principal building houses reception on the ground floor and also an airy restaurant/bar plus a takeaway. Of the 340 pitches, 45 are for touring, all with electricity and the majority with water. The remainder (higher up the hill on which the site is built) are occupied by over 220 mobile homes and some 70 tents belonging to a Dutch tour operator. The pitches will easily accommodate units up to seven metres. Terraces look out onto the heated leisure pool complex and an outdoor adventure-style play area for over-fives, whilst the indoor soft play area is in a large tent at the side of the bar.

The site is next to a railway station with trains direct to Paris (45 minutes). Disneyland is only 20 km, so it is very popular with families with young children. Reservation is recommended.

Location

Pommeuse is 55 km. east of Paris. From A4 at exit 16 take D934 towards Coulommiers. In 10 km. turn south for 2 km. on D25 to Pommeuse; site on right after level-crossing. Also signed from south on D402 Guignes-Coulommiers road, taking D25 to Faremoutiers. Site is well signed from D25.
