Located between Sarlat and Bergerac, this great little campsite is set in lovely countryside close to the River Dordogne. It is beautifully landscaped with flowers, shrubs and trees, maintained to a good standard and kept very clean. There are 57 level grass pitches of average size, 36 of which are for touring units. All have 10A electricity and are separated by shrubs and mature trees providing shade. The remainder are used for mobile homes to rent. The river is only 300 metres away and a canoeing centre can be found near the site entrance.

There is some family entertainment in July and August but it is very low key. There is a new heated swimming pool with shallow areas at each end for young children and a pleasant sunbathing area. Access to and on the site is easy but large units are requested to phone ahead. This site gives good value for money, especially in the low season and is ideal for couples and families with pre-teen children. There are many attractions and places to visit in the area and none are very far away.

The modern, high quality toilet block includes facilities for babies and accessible facilities, Washing machine and iron. Small shop (all season). Takeaway (1/5-20/9). Heated outdoor swimming pool (all season). Library. Entertainment (July/Aug). Play area. Boules. TV. WiFi, (two hours free per day). Twin axle caravans are not accepted

Directions to Camping le Bosquet

Take the D46 from Sarlat to Vitrac. Cross the river bridge in Vitrac and the site is on the right hand side 1 km. further on. Well signed.
