Alan Rogers Review
This very well maintained, family run site, is close to the quaint old town of Cudillero and it is an ideal stopover when visiting ‘green Spain’. Nearby is some of the most attractive mountain scenery in the region and if you stay here for one night it can easily extend to a much longer visit. There are 192 pitches, mostly used for seasonal units but with 40 good sized touring pitches on level or gently sloping grass with easy access. Some pitches can accommodate large units. Mature trees give some shade and all pitches have 6A electricity. The excellent swimming pool provides an area for relaxation. This is a relatively quiet site but can be busy and noisy at weekends when the seasonal units tend to be occupied. The spectacular Costa Verde has many places to explore and the towns of Gigon and Oviedo are places that have to be visited.
One modern and very well maintained toilet block is close to all pitches and includes washbasins and shower cubicles. Facilities for disabled visitors. Washing machines and dryers. Well stocked shop. Café/bar area. Swimming pool (June-Sept). Play area. Very little English is spoken. Gas and charcoal barbecues permitted. Free WiFi in bar area. 19 bungalows for hire.
From A8 take exit 425 (Muros de Nalon). At roundabout take N632 towards Cudillero. After 3 km. turn right onto CU2 signed El Pito. Site is well signed on right in 2 km. On no account take caravans into Cudillero.Link to campsite location map on google
