The French/English owners, Marieline and Nick Long, have created a peaceful country park setting for their great campsite to the north of La Trinité village. The 8.5 hectares of well maintained campsite are part sloping, part terraced, with an informal pitch allocation system. It seems to stretch endlessly. The abundance of tree varieties, including many cork oaks, give shade to 111 pitches which all have 10A electricity. The site has a pleasant pool and lagoon-style paddling pool and also a bar serving pizza, snacks and ice cream. Visitors will experience ‘real camping’ here with high standards but none of the activity you would get on the resort-style sites.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and the delightful owners provide real value to camping at La Vetta. Many of the delights of Corsica are only a short drive away and the site is only 3 km. from Porto-Vecchio and its magnificent sandy beaches.

Facilities at Camping la Vetta

The sanitary facilities have been refurbished to a very high standard and include plenty of hot water. Laundry facilities. Bread and milk, lunchtime and evening pizza/snacks and bar (all July/Aug). Swimming pool, paddling pool, water play area and grassed relaxation area. Snooker table. Play area. TV. Occasional Corsican evenings with food typical of the area (high season). WiFi on part of site (charged).
