Camping La Roussille is a small site which is part of the municipal park and lake. It is located in the heart of the Creuse, 25 km. from Gueret and 400 m. from the village. At the borders of the Berry and la Marche, the site has 26 touring pitches, all with electricity (long leads may be needed). Nearby is a five-hectare lake with sandy beach and supervised swimming in July/August. There is also a very conveniently placed bar with a terrace overlooking the beach. There are numerous on-site activities for children. The owners organise hiking and mountain biking trips to help you discover the area’s rich heritage, and escorted walking tours are available. Rental accommodation is in eight chalets (2-6 persons) with one specially adapted for those with reduced mobility.

The site is on the northern edge of the Limousin region in an area known as the Creuse. This stunningly beautiful region is full of still lakes, fast flowing streams, gentle rolling valleys and forested mountains. Hence the title - land of lakes and legends. In the nearby towns of Montluçon and Boussac you will find museums and cháteaux to visit. The lush green meadows are grazed by the Limousin breed of cattle.

One small toilet block provides hot showers and washbasins with hot water. Laundry room. Bar with terrace by the beach (July/Aug). TV room. Games room. Games for children. Fishing. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Barbecue area. Barbecues to loan. WiFi on part of site (charged).

From N145 E62 at Gueret take D940 north bound. In village after the Mairie, turn left onto D40. Site is on left.
