Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Rivière
La Rivière is a member of the Flower group and is located on the edge of the Luberon national park, bordering the river Largue. There are 100 pitches here. These are well shaded, of a good size and mostly with electrical connections (10A). A number of pitches are occupied by mobile homes and fully equipped tents, to rent.
On-site amenities include a swimming pool, fishing lake and bar/restaurant (with takeaway food). The site becomes livelier in July and August with various activities including giant board games, dance evenings and various sports competitions.
During peak season, the campsite owner organises accompanied walks to the surrounding countryside. There is over 200 km. of waymarked paths throughout the national park and riding is also popular.
Bicycle hire is available on site and the owners will be pleased to recommend routes. There are many pretty villages to explore, including Saint Maîme with its ruined château and Manosque, a pretty medieval town, once the home of author Jean Giono.

Directions to Camping la Rivière
From Manosque, head north on D4096 to Voix and then head west on D13 towards St Maime. You will see the site before reaching the village.
