Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Rivière
The Corrèze is less well known than the Dordogne to the immediate south, but it is a beautiful area deserving more attention. Donzenac is an attractive small town with a variety of shops, restaurants, etc. This municipal site is situated on the outskirts, just under a mile from the centre (an uphill walk). The site is small and neat with 60 fairly large pitches on level grass, the majority with electricity (10A). A variety of trees and shrubs give some shade. The site is next door to the town tennis courts and swimming pool (open for July and August, and free to campers).
Facilities at Camping la Rivière
Modernised sanitary facilities are very good including accessible facilities, laundry room with washing machine and microwave. Baker calls in July/Aug. Bar (July/Aug). Games room. Boules. Minigolf. Play area. Fishing. Double-axle caravans are not accepted.
Directions to Camping la Rivière
At roundabout at southern end of Donzenac (D920) turn southwest onto D170 signed Ussac and La Rivière. Entrance to site is shortly on the right.
