Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Pierre Longue
La Pierre Longue is on a peninsula which stretches over 5 km. into the ocean. The friendly owners have a great sense of humour at this delightful site. There are a total of 55 grass touring pitches of ample size which are well tended and divided by small trees and young shrubs. There is some shade but not a great deal. A comfortable bar and a restaurant with a comprehensive menu serving speciality seafood dishes open out onto a terrace and small swimming pool. This site is open for a long season and has a very pleasant ambience.
Le Croisic itself has plenty to discover from fine sandy beaches and flower bedecked quays to the lanes with their 16th- and 17th-century houses.
Facilities at Camping la Pierre Longue
The main modern toilet block is heated with washbasins both open and in cubicles. Large shower area. Accessible Facilities. Laundry facilities. Small shop, bar, restaurant and takeaway (22/6-5/9). Outdoor heated swimming and paddling pools (May-Sept). Bicycle hire. WiFi (free).
Directions to Camping la Pierre Longue
Take D774 from Guérande south to Pouliguen. Follow northwest to Le Croisic. Site is well signed and on left after 1.5 km.
