Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Palombière
This site is set in a gorgeous, rural part of France amongst the beauty of the Périgord countryside with its rolling green hills and ancient buildings. The restored and preserved buildings at la Palombière add to the pleasure of this delightful site. It is evident that much investment has gone into making this holiday destination a place to remember. There are 200 pitches of which 68 are for touring caravans and tents. All have 10A electricity and some are fully serviced. Most are level and shaded from the sun, with some terracing because of the different levels. The remaining pitches are used for chalets and mobile homes, of which 61 are for hire.
The site has a relaxed ambience and a tranquil atmosphere but, at the same time, there is much to do and enjoy on this spacious site. Organised activities in July and August are numerous. The pool complex with its slide and toboggan give hours of enjoyment and a new spacious gymnasium contains an assortment of machines which are there to assist after any indulgence in the gastronomic delights from the restaurant. The local cuisine with its fresh produce is beautifully prepared.

Directions to Camping la Palombière
Take the D47 east from Sarlat to Ste Nathalène. Site is signed from village and is reached by taking a left turn just beyond it.
