Camping La Montagne is a small, terraced family site in the southern French department of Vaucluse. It is just north of the medieval city of Avignon and within cycling distance of the town of Sorgues. The campsite has 62 pitches, 50 of which are for touring units and have a 16-amp hook-up point. 29 mobile homes or gypsy wagons are available to hire.

There is a lovely outdoor swimming pool and toddler pool which is decorated with boulders and palm trees. Sun loungers with umbrellas are dotted around the pool and are perfect for sunbathing during the summer heat. Older children will enjoy themselves on the waterslides, too. You can also regularly participate in aqua gym lessons or take a moment to rest in the jacuzzi area of the pool. If you want to relax even more, inquire about the available massages at reception. During the high season, plenty of activities are organised for the younger campers, including games and creative crafts. During the evenings, many live shows and themed evenings are held at the stage area on site, which includes cabaret shows and discos.

The medieval city of Avignon is located just north of the campsite, and the town of Sorgues is also within cycling distance. Both places are worth exploring for their history and culture. You can also enjoy kayaking, canoeing, and other water sports on the Sorgue River located nearby.

Directions to Camping La Montagne

From the south on A7/E714 take exit 23 Avignon Nord. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road turn right onto the D252 in the direction Carpentras, turn left after 800 metres join the D6 in the direction of Sorgues. And then, at a roundabout, turn right to join the D226. At the second roundabout turn right onto Chemin de Castillon. Over A7 and turn left onto Chemin de la Montagne and the site is on this road. The site is signposted.

From the North take exit 22 and join the D907 to Courthézon and Sorges and the site is signposted.
