Just as spectacular as the coastline is Corsica’s mountainous interior and by getting off the N200 this exceptional little campsite can be discovered. In a clearing among the trees are 25 pitches, many with electrical connection (20A). Whilst the panoramic view, peace and tranquillity are cause enough to be here, the enthusiastic couple, Mathieu and Angele who run the site have already made it noteworthy. They offer visitors a restaurant service with cuisine of Corsica, prepared from their own farm produce – Mathieu works on the farm, as well as being the chef.
The small restaurant is a delight with neatly laid tables, an old stone fireplace, wall hangings and bric-a-brac all creating a special atmosphere, plus an attractive terrace.
Facilities at Camping la Ferme de Peridungellu
Clean fully equipped toilet block. Washing machine. Shop provides farm produce and bread each day. Restaurant with local cheeses and wines. Around the site are picnic tables, water points, night lighting and a central rubbish point. Swimming pool.
Directions to Camping la Ferme de Peridungellu
From Corte centre take N200 towards Aléria. After 15 km. turn east on the D143 and site is on left after 4 km.
