Camping la Dune Blanche is a member of the Tohapi group and can be found between Le Touquet and Hardelot. This is a spacious woodland site extending over 20 hectares, encompassing a lake (suitable for fishing), and is well shaded by mature pine trees. There are 325 pitches, 75 for touring, and 30 of these with electrical connections (6A). There are also 20 mobile homes to rent. This is a quiet site in low season, but livelier in July and August, with an activity and entertainment programme for all ages. The nearest beach is 3 km. away and a shuttle service is available in peak season. There is some noise from passing trains.

Le Touquet has a reputation as the most elegant resort in northern France and has long been a popular get-away for Parisians (hence its full name, Le Touquet Paris-Plage). Much of its architecture harks back to the Roaring Twenties and the town’s popularity has been revived as a result. There are several excellent golf courses and a celebrated horse racing track. The beach is an enormous sweep of sand, and is understandably popular with windsurfers.

Facilities

One older style toilet block situated near the pool complex serves the entire site. It has equal numbers of British and squat style toilets, cold water to washbasins and pull-cord, solar heated showers. Accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Location

Approaching from the north (Boulogne), leave A16 motorway at the Le Touquet/Etaples exit and head north on D940. The site is well signed before you reach St Gabriel Plage.
