Alan Rogers Review of Camping la Coste Rouge
This clean, comfortable and very well cared for campsite enjoys an elevated position just 2 km. south of the resort of Argelès-sur-Mer. Nestling at the foot of the mountains, the site has been cleverly landscaped and terraced to provide very large, flat pitches with some having views over the Mediterranean, as well as up to the mountains. Stone walls, mature trees and colourful shrubs and flowers, along with neat site roads, create a peaceful atmosphere where relaxation is the order of the day. This is superb walking country and cycling is also enjoyed by the fitter visitors.
This family run site, which has such easy access to all the main roads in the area, is an ideal location for touring this area of France, with numerous small villages and ports within an hours drive.
Facilities at Camping la Coste Rouge
Modern, very clean sanitary blocks with facilities for children. Small shop. Restaurant. Snack bar. Swimming pool complex with choice of heated pool sizes and paddling pool. Children’s club (6-12 yrs). Games room with TV. Play area.
Directions to Camping la Coste Rouge
From A9 exit 42 follow signs for Argelès on the D114. Leave at exit 13 and then follow signs for Argelès village at first roundabout. Site is on the left within 100 m.
