La Chapelle Saint Claude is an attractively located site with direct access to Lake Annecy. The site can be found on the eastern shore of the lake, close to the pretty town of Talloires. There are 110 pitches here, many of which have fine views across the lake. All have electrical connections (10A). A number of chalets are available to rent. A private beach is available (with beach volleyball) and a larger, gently shelving public beach is around 200 m. distant. Boats can be moored on site but these must be booked beforehand (additional charges are applicable).

On-site amenities include a takeaway and a morning bread delivery (both July/August). A supermarket is 1 km. away. Angon can be found around 2km south of Talloires and most services are available there. Annecy is around 15km distant and is a delightful place to visit. The winter sport resorts of Le Grand Bornand and La Clusaz can both be reached in around 30 minutes. Tailloires enjoys a fine setting on the lake and stages a wide variety of events, including its spectacular ‘pyroconcerts’ on the lake.

Toilet facilities, in a modern block, are adequate and well maintained. Excellent facilities for children and accessible facilities. Bar and takeaway (July/Aug). Morning bread delivery. Direct access to lake and fishing. Beach volleyball. Playground. Activity and entertainment programme (July/Aug). Children’s club. Chalets to rent. Limited WiFi (charged). Fishing.

Directions to Camping la Chapelle Saint Claude

Approaching from the north (Annecy), take the D909 along the eastern shores of the lake and continue to Talloires. Drive through Talloires towards Faverges and continue as far as Angon. Site is well signed from here.
