This is a small, uncomplicated and tranquil city site with the advantage of being on top of a cliff at the water’s edge. The 70 level touring pitches (40-50 sq.m) are on gravel with shade from some tall trees and artificial bamboo screens. The sanitary facilities are just adequate (some private facilities for hire). There is no pool, but the views of the water compensate and there are delightful rock pools in the sea just a few steps from the campsite. A new attractive restaurant offers food in the summer high season. Camping Jonio is ideal for a short stay to unwind.
You could bask in the sun on the rocky platforms and dive into the clear waters, or take advantage of the many excursions to the local historical sites. Excellent winter rates are available for long stay visitors. Five languages including English are spoken and access to the site is good.
