This picturesque site developed on a former farm is located between the National Parks of Dwingelderveld and Weerribben, in the heart of Meeuwenveen. The site is child-free and prides itself on the absence of playgrounds, recreational programmes and restaurants. There are 40 very spacious, fully serviced pitches with water, drainage and electricity. They are arranged over five fields, most are 130 sq.m. and all are bordered by trees, hedges and shrubs. There are also three apartments to rent. This site is perfect for couples looking to relax with complete peace and quiet or to explore the local walking trails, cycle routes and National Parks.

Drenthe has an impressive cycling system, taking you through some of the picturesque and scenic areas of the region. They have a varied network of routes to choose from, so you can decide which route and what distance you want to ride. With so many to choose from there is certainly something to suit everyone. There is also an 18-hole golf course a short distance from the site in the lovely town of Havelte.

Location

From Amersfoort take exit 28 after Staphorst and continue along A32 towards Meppel. After 7 km. take the exit and join the 371N towards Havelte/Diever. After 4 km. continue towards Uffelte and Diever and, at the bridge, turn left, right and then right again. The site is signed.
