Alan Rogers Review
The final approach to this site emerges from the bustle of the town and is decorated with palm, orange and pine trees, the latter playing host to a colony of parakeets. English is spoken at reception. The neat, boxed hedges and palms within the site and its backdrop of hills dotted with villas presents an attractive setting. Three hectares provide space for 214 numbered pitches with 193 for touring units. Flat, level and rectangular in shape, the pitches vary in size (60-80 sq.m). All pitches have a granite chip surface and 8A electricity. The restaurant provides great food, way above normal campsite standards.
Some pitches have artificial shade, although for most the pruned eucalyptus and pepper trees suffice. The area has a large number of British residents. Besides being popular for a summer holiday, Camping Jávea is open all year and could be of interest to those that wish to winter in an excellent climate. Discounts can make an extended stay extremely viable.
Two very clean, fully equipped, sanitary blocks include two children’s toilets plus a baby bath. Separate facilities for disabled campers. Two washing machines. Fridge hire. Extensive bar and restaurant with terraces where in high season you purchase bread and milk. Large swimming pool with lifeguard and sunbathing lawns. Play area. Boules. Electronic barriers (deposit for card). Caravan storage. Post. Safes. Five-a-side football. Basketball. Tennis. WiFi (free in restaurant). Car rental.
Exit N332 for Jávea on A134, continue towards Port (road number changes to CV734). In town the site is well marked with large orange indicators high on posts. Watch carefully for a sudden slip road sign!Link to campsite location map on google
