Camping Is Arenas is on the west coast of the lovely Italian island of Sardinia, near the historic towns of Cuglieri and Oristano. The site lies on the "Spiggia di Is Arenas", a long beach with golden sand, surrounded by dunes and forests. This is a lovely destination for seekers of peace and quiet and families that are looking for an authentic part of Sardinia, away from the hustle and bustle. The site has 193 grass pitches of which 160 are for touring units and have 6-amp hook-up point, 6 seasonal pitches and 27 bungalows, caravans and bell tents available to hire. The car free pitches are in the forest and are not demarcated, so the pitches vary in size and amount of shade.

From the beginning of June to the beginning of September, the little ones can play in the mini club and there are activities for older children. The entertainment is good, but not over the top. Children can have fun at the playground with swings and slides. Table tennis and table football are also at their disposal. For plenty of water fun, just walk along the path to the beach which is only two hundred metres from the site. For real relaxation, rent loungers and sun umbrellas.

The focal point of the Is Arenas Camping Village is the bar, where breakfast is served, there is a large terrace with tables where you can enjoy fresh aperitifs, drinks and ice creams. Near the reception and the bar the restaurant serves traditional Italian dishes, typical Sardinian dishes, prepared with always fresh local ingredients.

Directions to Camping Is Arenas

Road 292 between Cuglieri and Riola Sardo. The site is signposted at exit at post 109. Follow signs for 'Is Arenas'. On arrival at the site keep right. Beautiful wide tree-lined road.
