Situated close to the beach in a rural spot, Camping Iria Beach is a family site, although more basic than other Greek sites. However, the site offers a good selection of facilities, including a Greek taverna, a bar serving Greek cuisine, and an outdoor swimming pool, giving the site a relaxed atmosphere.

There are 66 pitches, most of which have electric (16A), a good variety of shaded pitches and some with hard standing. Families return to this site year after year due to its traditional charm. During the summer, various entertainment is held in the taverna with Greek music and traditional dances. There are also many games and other artistic activities held here.

The surrounding area is steeped in history, in fact the prefecture of Argolis is home to more historical and archaeological sites (many of which are UNESCO World Heritage sites) than any other in the country. Epidaurus, Mycenae and Ancient Tiryns, all UNESCO sites, are within 30km of the site. The capital city of Athens and Olympia, site of the ancient Greek Olympics and where the Olympic torch is lit before every modern Olympic games, are both less than 3 hours drive away.

Directions to Camping Iria Beach

From Nafplion towards Drepanon, in Drepanon take the road towards Iria, before Iria take exit Iria Beach. After 1.5 km the campsite is left of the road.
