Camping International lies around 5 km. from Aosta, close to the little village of Sarre. This site would only be appropriate as a transit stop. It offers a flat camping area with shaded pitches of a reasonable size, most with electrical connections (long cables may be required). There is a modest range of leisure amenities, notably a small swimming pool. The basic restaurant specialises in local cuisine. Road noise from the nearby A5 and S26 is audible everywhere and there are large electricity pylons across the eastern part of the site.
The Aosta Valley is surrounded by some of the best known Alpine peaks, Mont Blanc, Monte Rosa, Matterhorn, to name but three. The region also offers the contrast between its warm, Mediterranean temperatures and beautiful mountain villages.
