This spacious, well laid out site has access to a fine beach via a footbridge over the coast road. Camping Internacional de Calonge is a family site with two attractive pools on different levels, a paddling pool and large sunbathing areas. A restaurant, bar and snack bar with great views are by the pool. The 466 touring pitches are on terraces, and all have electricity (5A), with 84 being fully serviced. There is good shade from the tall pine trees, and there are some spectacular coastal views. Some access roads and steps are steep, but a road train operates in high season. There are wonderful views from the upper levels where there are some larger comfort pitches. The pools are overlooked by the restaurant terraces which have great views over the mountains.

A nature area within the site is used for walks and picnics and two separate areas within the site are set aside for visitors with dogs (dog shower included!). The beach is accessed over the main road by 100 steps.

Bar, patio bar with pizzas and takeaway (25/3-30/9, weekends for the rest of the year). Swimming pools (25/3-12/10). Playground. Electronic games. Disco two nights a week (but not late) in high season. Bicycle hire. Tennis. Hairdresser. ATM. WiFi (free in hotspots). Torches necessary in some areas. Road train from the bottom of the site to the top in high season.

Directions to Camping Internacional de Calonge

Site is on the inland side of the coast road between Palamós and Platja d’Aro. Take C31 south to 661 at Calonge. At Calonge follow signs to C253 towards Platja d’Aro and on to site, which is well signed.
