This small and neat, eco-friendly site provides just 36 terraced pitches (half for motorhomes and caravans) in a steeply sloping olive grove that gives some shade. There are magnificent views across the valley below. The terrace of the small bar is an ideal spot from which to watch the magnificent sunsets over the countryside beyond. A small pool is very welcome when the weather is hot. This is an excellent base from which to explore the Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio regions. The friendly Valeri family will do all they can to make your stay peaceful and enjoyable.

The hilltop village of Civitella del Lago can be seen for miles around and is just 1 km. from the site. It is well worth the walk to explore. The Piazza Belvedere next to the castle offers an outstanding view that reaches from Orvieto to the oasis of Alviano. The town of Montefiascone stands out on the horizon and on a clear day it is possible to see the Amiata Mount – three counties in one view.

The single, spotless and well maintained sanitary block provides hot water throughout, toilets, washbasins and showers and a separate room with sinks for clothes and dishwashing. Outdoor swimming pool (1/5-30/9). Bar with a shop is next to reception. WiFi (charged).

Directions to Camping Il Falcone

From Orvieto take SR205 then SS448 towards Todi. Just past 4 km. marker on the SS448 turn right on S90 up towards the hilltop town of Civitella del Lago. Go past village, 6 km. up the hill, and bear right. Site is 1 km. further on the right.
