Located 900 meters above sea level, Camping Hirschegg can be found on the edge of the village of the same name in Western Styria. This small and straightforward campsite only has 60 pitches, 25 of which are dedicated to tourers, many with electrical hookups. The site is well maintained by the owners, with clean and tidy sanitary facilities. The nearby lake can be used for fishing and swimming in the summer and is used for ice skating in the winter (Ice skates and ice hockey sticks for rent at the campsite.) Foraging is encouraged, particularly in the autumn months when mushrooms and lingonberries can be found in the woods.
