Alan Rogers Review
Climbing up the newly rebuilt road alongside the green valley, we reach the pretty village of Raggal. Grosswalsertal lies just beyond the village on a small plateau. From almost every pitch there are the most fantastic views down the valley. On open grass, there are 55 slightly sloping, un-numbered and unmarked pitches all with 16A electricity. Plenty of sporting activities are available locally and there are many places to visit, as well as walks and bike rides in the immediate area. Alternatively, just rest on the site and watch the clouds roll by. The site is very popular with Dutch visitors.
The welcome from the Zech family is warm and generous, and they will help select your pitch. Many have been gravelled for motorhomes. The swimming pool, open in high season, is now heated to 23 degrees Celsius. Across the road is a beach volleyball court and a hut for youngsters. Visitors on site told us they have been returning for 20 years.
The modern sanitary block has ample and clean toilets, hot showers and washbasins. Washing machine and dryer. Small shop with essential supplies. Swimming pool (1/6-15/9). Play area. Bicycle hire. WiFi over site (charged).
From the A14 take exit 57 for Nuziders and follow signs to 193 and Ludesch. Turn right towards Raggal and site is on the left, just past the village.Link to campsite location map on google
