Camping Groot Antink is a small, idyllic campsite located next to the fortified town of Groenlo in the Gelderland province of the Netherlands. It is worth visiting if you're looking for a small campsite with a back-to-nature feel. On site, there are 35 touring pitches, which have electric hook-up points available and are partly surrounded by trees, offering shade and privacy to campers. There are also areas with open fields, perfect for enjoying the sunshine. Private sanitary facilities can also be booked whilst staying here.
Since this is a small campsite, there aren't extensive facilities, but you have everything needed for a comfortable stay. The campsite farm grows various fruits, such as Currants, raspberries and blueberries. After picking, these delicious fruits are transformed into different kinds of jams, sauces, syrups and chutneys. All these homemade products are for sale in the campsite's farm shop. You can also pick your fruit depending on what is in season.
The Achterhoek region is known for its beautiful nature. Several nature reserves in the area are perfect for hiking and biking. One option is the Vestingwallen nature reserve, locatednext to Groenlo.
