Alan Rogers Review of Camping Ginsterveld
This is a fantastic family site for both parents and children. Not only is the nearby wide sandy beach popular, but there is also a swimming paradise with different water levels, a lazy river, water slides (one 40 m. long), pools for toddlers and children, a whirlpool and a steam cabin. There are 590 pitches, 310 for touring, all with electricity (6-16A). Spacious and surrounded by trees and shrubs, every pitch has plenty of privacy. Some have private sanitary facilities. The site provides excellent sanitary facilities which of course include special facilities for babies and children. Member of the Ardoer group.
Other on-site amenities including several play fields, bicycle hire and spacious play areas. When the weather is poor there is an indoor play area. The surrounding woodland and dunes are home to many species of bird and would appeal to naturalists. Ginsterveld is an ideal base for exploring the island, and a free bus pass also serves as a discount ticket for local attractions. The ‘must see’ towns of Ziriekzee and Middleburg can be reached using this bus pass, as can the lively town of Renesse. A large music festival is held locally each year.

Two excellent heated toilet blocks. Washbasins in cabins and large controllable showers. Accessible facilities, Motorhome services. Shop. Excellent restaurant. Bar. Takeaway. Good heated indoor pool. Tennis. Sports field. Good playgrounds. Multisports court. Games room. Entertainment programme (July/Aug and w/ends). Pets are not accepted. Bicycle and go-kart hire. Boat launching. WiFi throughout (free).
Directions to Camping Ginsterveld
From the A15 take exit 17 towards Middelburg. Follow the N57 towards Burgh-Haamstede and site is well signed from the centre.
