This campsite sits at the gateway to the Pyrenees National Park, boasting panoramic views of the majestic Cirque de Gavarnie, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site has 58 grass pitches, of which 36 are for touring units and have a 2/10- -amp hook-up point, 14 seasonal pitches, and eight mobile homes or chalets are available for hire. As this campsite is open during the winter and summer seasons it caters to many different groups of campers. In winter, for skiing enthusiasts, the site offers ski storage, hire and a shuttle bus to the nearest slopes. There is also a TV room with a cosy fire to warm up in the evenings. During the summer, the campsite offers a snack bar with a terrace. Enjoy a drink and a bite to eat while enjoying the surrounding views. Children can take advantage of the playground in the summer, too, and the older children will enjoy playing a game or two of table tennis. 

Camping Le Pain de Sucre is an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts. During the summer, enjoy activities like fishing, canyoning, via ferrata, and scenic hikes. The campsite is conveniently located just a few kilometres from the charming village of Gavarnie. The campsite even provides a free parking sticker for your vehicle when driving into town.In the winter, the area is popular for skiing and snowboarding. The Pyrenees National Park is a paradise for hikers. There are trails to suit all levels of ability, from gentle strolls to challenging climbs. Some popular hikes in the area include the Cirque de Gavarnie. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is a stunning glacial cirque with towering cliffs and the Grande Cascade de Gavarnie, the highest waterfall in France.
