This is a tiny, basic site with few amenities on the outskirts of Manerba del Garda, just 50 metres from a shingle beach. It has a small pool and a very old fashioned, but clean toilet block. There are just 15 level touring pitches all with 4A electricity and with shade provided by mature trees. The remaining 30 pitches are occupied by permanent caravans and accommodation for hire. The friendly young owner speaks excellent English and is keen to welcome British and Dutch visitors. There is a restaurant and bar adjoining the site and a small supermarket just 400 m. along the road.

Manerba is on the less commercialised western side of Lake Garda, but it still gets very crowded in high season, so this site could provide a haven. The theme and water parks and huge hypermarkets around the southern end of the lake are still within easy reach if you fancy a change of mood!

Facilities at Camping Garden Tourist

Small traditional toilet block with stable doors and controllable showers. A mix of British and squat style WCs. Open washbasins, washing and laundry sinks (all with hot water) under cover. Accessible facilities (with moveable ramp). Washing machine. Motorhome services. Small outdoor swimming pool (1/5-15/9). WiFi. Accommodation for hire.

Directions to Camping Garden Tourist

Manerba is on western shore of Lake Garda at the southern end. From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take Desenzano exit and head north on SS572 towards Salò for 12 km; then turn right following signs to site.
