Vakantiecentrum de Fruithof is an immaculately kept site that is attractively landscaped with different varieties of shrubs and trees. The site is fairly open and has neat pitches on well kept grassy lawns with access from tarmac roads. They are separated by fir trees and low hedges, providing lots of privacy. De Fruithof has 450 level, numbered pitches, 250 of which are for touring, all with 6-10A electricity, water, cable and drainage. To the front of the site is a covered swimming pool with a sliding roof for warm weather. At the centre of the site is a large lake with sandy beaches and some play equipment.

In high season and school holidays, an entertainment team provide activities for children. Next to the swimming pool is a comfortable restaurant with an open-air terrace. The area surrounding de Fruithof offers numerous opportunities for walking and cycling. Close by is the zoo in Emmen, the interesting village of Orvelte and the fortified town of Bourtange.

Directions to Camping Fruithof

On N34 take the exit for Emmen-Noord and turn immediately left towards Klijndijk. Follow site signs from there. The site is on the right on Melkweg.
