Alan Rogers Review of Camping Fantázia Tanya
Fantázia Tanya is an informal, natural campsite 90 km. from Budapest. A Dutch couple began work here in 2004. They have beautifully renovated the house, which was almost a ruin, and have also added an extension. The fenced site of more than an acre incorporates various fruit trees, a vineyard and a vegetable garden. Spacious pitches are in several small grass fields and enjoy good views over the surrounding fields of water melons and vines. Deer sometimes appear out of the forest.

Simple sanitary building with shower, washbasins and WC. Small swimming pool. WiFi.
Directions to Camping Fantázia Tanya
From Budapest on southbound M5 to Kecskemét, take exit 5 (Kecskemét Del) and follow road 54 towards Cegléd. At roundabout straight on towards Békéscsaba. After 8 km. turn left towards Szentkirály/Tiszakécke. Go through Szentkirály village and after 2.5 km. turn left (at Holy Cross) and follow sandy road. Follow a bend to the right. After 3 km. from the Cross is a camping sign on left.
