This large, traditional, lakeside site is a merger of two different sites with the result that the 354 pitches (about 175 for touring units) appear randomly dispersed around the site. However, those alongside the lake are in small groups and close together; the main bar, restaurant and shop are also located at the lower level. The main area is at the top of a fairly steep hill on slightly sloping or terraced grass and has slightly larger pitches.

There is reasonable shade in many parts and all pitches have electricity. An attractive swimming pool complex also has a daytime bar and a restaurant which serves lunch and is the hub of the evening entertainment programme in high season.

There is a considerable tour operator presence (160 pitches) and many bungalows, mobile homes and log cabins to rent. The site has steep slopes to the lake, so is unsuitable for campers with disabilities. The beach is suitable for swimming and has a jetty and moorings. A choice of watersports is available.

Toilet blocks include washbasins in cabins, Accessible facilities and a superb children’s room with small showers. Laundry. Shop. Restaurant/pizzeria. Swimming pools (11/5-13/9, hats required) with bar. Tennis, volleyball and five-a-side soccer. Playground. Bowling alley. Entertainment (every night in July/Aug). Disco for children. Bicycle hire. Tournaments. Fishing and boat launching. First aid room. WiFi on part of site (charged).

Directions to Camping Europa Silvella

San Felice is on the western shore of Lake Garda at the southern end. From A4 Milan-Venice autostrada take Desenzano exit and head north on SS572 towards Salò for 14 km. Turn right towards San Felice and follow brown tourist signs with site name (about 3 km). Enter Manerba del Garda for sat navs.
