Situated on a hillside, 2 km. from Solsona, El Solsones has pleasant views of the hills on three sides. There are many weekend units here, used by Catalan residents with 72 of the 269 pitches available for touring (22 for caravans and motorhomes and 50 for tents). The site is divided into separate sections and the touring pitches are on slightly sloping ground with good shade and 6/10A electricity. There are excellent floodlit sports facilities, a swimming pool, a restaurant and bar, and indoor and outdoor children’s play areas.

The site, with its predominantly Catalan clientele, has a distinctively Spanish feel. The restaurant serves Catalan style food using local produce, and the bar area has a central open fireplace. A large play area is provided, with rather hard surfacing. A friendly welcome is provided by the staff, who speak English and French and who are happy to arrange visits and activities on request. There is a programme of visits to places of natural and cultural interest. The site is proud of its active energy conservation and sustainability programmes.

Modern sanitary facilities are in two buildings (one renovated in 2012), with accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Well-stocked supermarket. Restaurant and bar (23/6-11/9 and weekends all year). Simple meals and snacks are served indoors and outside on the terrace overlooking the pool. Swimming pool with lifeguard (heated 20/6-13/9). Excellent floodlit sports complex. Minigolf. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Play area. Miniclub. Children’s cycle circuit. Pétanque. Trim trail. Free WiFi over site. Dogs are not accepted.

Solsona is 45 km. northwest of Manresa on C26 Lleida/Andorra/Berga road. Site is 2 km. north of Solsona on LV4241. Arriving in town, follow signs to camping and Lladurs. Site is on right.
