This is an unassuming site which is open most of the year and is close to an attractive lake. The 189 flat touring pitches (6A electricity) are under mature trees giving good shade, with some very large pitches for big motorhomes (no full drainage). The 81 bungalows, mobile homes and permanent units do not encroach on the touring pitches. The pools are atop a large bar/restaurant and there are terraces for sunbathing. The supermarket is also in this central unit and pretty patios are at one end for relaxing with a cool drink. This is a basic site for exploring the area or as a transit stop rather than a site for extended stays.

A communal barbecue unit is provided close to the pool and, while Dad is cooking, children can enjoy the animals in the Estany (animal enclosure).

Four sanitary blocks provide clean adequate facilities plus separate accessible units (key at reception). Motorhome services. Gas supplies. Supermarket. Restaurant/bar. Swimming pools. Play area. Tennis. Small animal enclosure. Barbecue area. Torches useful.

Directions to Camping El Llac

Porqueres is on the west side of the lake which is to the northwest of Banyoles. 3 km. northwest of Banyoles on C66 take road marked Estany by brown sign. Continue to Porqueres/Estany and take road anti-clockwise around lake to the west. There are no campsite signs so watch carefully for entrance.
