This municipal campsite overlooking the magnificent beaches of the Emerald Coast stretches out along the highest sand dunes in Brittany. Set within 30 hectares of pine forest, you can almost camp wild here. There are old but nicely refurbished showers and toilets in various locations throughout this large site with 900 pitches. There are also electricity points in groups for which you may require very long cables. There are no marked pitches and very few flat areas. Whilst having very few of the usual campsite amenities, this site has a peaceful and natural ambience that might suit those wishing to get away from it all. No unaccompanied under 18’s are allowed.

In July and August various events are organised. Every Thursday evening a disco is arranged in the centre of the site. Occasional horse-drawn carriages go from the campsite to the village centre of Frehel. Nearby, should you wish, there are opportunities for surfing, golf, tennis and fishing.

Several toilet/shower blocks throughout. Accessible facilities, Accessible facilities. Motorhome services. Bar and takeaway service (July/Aug). Small play area. Disco is held each Thursday in high season. Walking path GR34 next to site. Direct access to beach.

Directions to Camping du Pont de l’Etang

From St Malo take the D168. After Tregon take the D786. In 21 km. at Plurien turn right onto the D34. Campsite is on the left in 4 km.
