Within 15 minutes of the city centre and with a bus every 20 minutes, this family-run site is ideally located for visiting one of Europe’s most attractive and interesting cities. Very good English is spoken in the well-organised reception where bus tickets and plenty of tourist information are readily available.

The site has 158 touring pitches in three areas; the main short stay section has grass pitches in rows with concrete entry roads. Here the units are packed next to each other under mature trees. For longer stays there is a fairly open grass section and adjacent is a grass area for tents.

Quiet for a city site, it is easily reached from the autobahn and has a direct connection to the well organised Dresden public transport system (tickets valid all day).

This makes the site a good option for longer stays, taking in not only Dresden but other attractions in the near region, Meissen, Pillnitz, paddle boat trips along The Elbe and much more. This city and its less well known region has a wealth of general, historical and touristic interest to offer and some pre-planning of a visit would be valuable.

Directions to Camping Dresden-Mockritz

Site is 4 km. south of city centre. Leave A4 at Dreieck Dresden West and travel east on A17 for 11 km. Leave A17 at exit 3 (Anschlusstelle, Dresden, Südvorstatdt) just after two fairly long tunnels. Head north on 170 towards city centre. After 1.5 km. site is signed to right.
