This is an excellent municipal site, only a few kilometres from the coast and D-Day landing beaches. Pleasantly laid out with grassy lawns and bushes, its neat, cared for appearance makes a good impression. It is very useful for a stopover or for a longer stay, and ideal if you wish to visit Bayeux, the cathedral and the tapestry. The 140 pitches (many hardstanding) are in two areas, well marked and generally of good size with 6A electricity. The site is busy over a long season and reception is open 08.00-12.30 and 14.00-19.00 (all day in July and August). There is a queueing area outside the entrance.
The site is easily accessed from the N13 and is within easy reach of the D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux (a ten-minute walk) and Caen.
