Camping des 2 Rives is south of the Morvan Regional Natural Park in the Burgundy region, a five-minute walk from the town of Étang-sur-Arroux and between the Arroux and Mesvrin rivers. The site has 80 pitches, of which 68 are for touring units, and 12 mobile homes or chalets are available for hire. Pitches are not delimited but are spacious and are shaded by mature trees.

Daily bread deliveries in the summer months mean you can enjoy your breakfast at leisure as you plan your day. A snack bar is open during summer evenings three days a week, and there is a communal BBQ area if you like to cook yourself and dine alfresco. Entertainment such as live music and craft-making activities are regularly held at the snack bar during the summer. It is an ideal site for those who enjoy water activities as there is the opportunity to hire kayaks directly from the campsite. A great way to explore the area via the water. The river is also ideal for swimming and cooling off in the summer heat. Avid anglers will also enjoy trying their luck at catching fish from the river banks.

For your food supplies, head to Étang-sur-Arroux; there are plenty of shops, a supermarket and a generous spread of restaurants and bars there, too. The site is the ideal base to explore the region. It offers various cycle routes including the Grande Traversée du Massif Central. An itinerary for all thrill-seekers... It is intended to be open to all, and occasional mountain bikers will find stages adapted to their level.

From the A6/A38 junction at Pouilly-en-Auxois join the D981 towards Auton. From Autun join D681 direction Moulins-Luzy. After the Aire des Buchillons turn left onto D994 to Étang-sur-Arroux. The site just south of Étang-sur-Arroux on the right off the D994.
