Alan Rogers Review
Superbly located, directly behind the sea dyke of the Wadden Sea and just a kilometre from the harbour of Harlingen, De Zeehoeve is an attractive and spacious site. It has 300 pitches (125 for touring units), all with 16A Europlug connection and 20 with water, drainage and electricity. There are 16 hardstandings for motorhomes and larger units. Some pitches have views over the Harlingen canal where one can moor small boats.
An ideal site for rest and relaxation, for watersports or to visit the attractions of Harlingen and Friesland. After a day of activity, one can wine and dine in the site’s modern restaurant or at one of the many pubs in the town.
This splendid location allows one the opportunity to watch the sun slowly setting over the sea dyke. You can also stroll through Harlingen or take the ferry to Vlieland or Terschelling. It is possible for hire a boat or book an organised sailing or sea fishing trip from Harlingen.
Three sanitary blocks include open style washbasins with cold water only, washbasins in cabins with hot and cold water, controllable showers (on payment). Family showers and baby bath.
