Camping De Rimboe is set in 10.5 hectares of sloping fields and mature woodland. The 140 touring pitches (90-150 sq.m) are either on grass, which has both sun and shade, or in the woods where there is an opportunity for free camping. All have a water point and 4/6A electricity. This is a peaceful site where visitors can relax, appreciate the natural environment and explore the area by foot or bicycle. As a contrast, the lively resort towns of Lunteren, Ede and Bardeveld are a short distance away. The site’s recreational space provides opportunities for a variety of games and sports, and there is also a clubhouse and two play areas.

There are many cycling and walking routes starting from the site or very close by. Bicycles can be rented and the walking paths are well signed. The modern, heated sanitary facilities have special provision for babies and visitors with disabilities. Behind the site there is a nature reserve in a sand quarry which is a haven for flowers, plants and animals. An open air swimming pool is close by (500 m) and there is a bar and some shops at Lunteren (2.5 km).

Directions to Camping De Rimboe

De Rimboe is 25 km. northwest of Arnhem. From the E35 between Ede and Veenendaal turn north onto the A30. After 8 km. turn east to Lunteren. In Lunteren (Dorpstraat) follow signs for Boslaan. Site is opposite the bicycle shop.
