This family run site is situated in the lesser known, but beautiful, northern Ardèche and you can be sure of a warm and friendly welcome here. Set in a wooded valley close to a tiny village below the ruins of a château, there are 130 good sized, level, grass pitches with 70 for touring (all with 4-13A electricity). Separated by hedges and mature trees, most have good shade. The town of Lamastre is often used as a stage for cycling events and has markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The site is close to the Doux river with a beautiful natural river swimming area within 150 m.

The river beach is open to the public and has supervised bathing from afternoon to evening. An exciting descent of the Gorges du Doux is within easy reach at Boucieu le Roi. Vélorail is an old railway track used by 4-seater trucks that can be pedalled down for 12 km. before returning via a vintage autorail, the complete journey achieved in 2 hours. Lamastre, an interesting old town with a range of small shops, bars and restaurants, and banks, is 1.5 km. This is a 20 minute walk if you use the route advised by reception.
