Camping de la Verdière is a small, family-friendly campsite located in the heart of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, close to the Gorges du Verdon. It is a great place to enjoy the outdoors and explore the beautiful natural surroundings. The site consists of 2 hectares with 40 touring pitches with electric hook-up points available. All pitches are large, well-shaded, and delimited by mature hedging, giving each pitch privacy.
The campsite has all the facilities and amenities needed for an enjoyable stay, with a centrally located outdoor swimming pool and a snack bar that is open during the summer months. Themed evenings are organised regularly here too such as paella nights. There is plenty to keep the children entertained too with a playground, table football and table tennis. Without leaving the campsite, you have exclusive access to one hectare of woodland, which is fenced, perfect for taking the dog for a walk or the kids to run around and play hide and seek.
Explore the Gorges du Verdon which is the crown jewel of Provence is a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. Hike or bike along the rim of the canyon, taking in breathtaking views of the turquoise waters and towering cliffs. The largest lake in the Verdon Regional Natural Park, Lac de Sainte-Croix is a paradise for water sports. Rent a canoe or kayak and explore the lake's hidden coves and beaches. For those seeking an adventure, the Verdon Gorge offers some of the best rafting and canyoning in France. Stroll through the narrow streets of La Verdière, a picturesque Provençal village perched on a hillside. Visit the 12th-century Château de la Verdière, now home to art exhibitions, or explore the village's shops and cafes.
