The municipal Camping de la Sûre is within walking distance of the centre of Diekirch, a town that is brimming with things to see and do. Located on the banks of the Sûre, this site offers 204 flat grass pitches, of which 175 are for touring, most with 10A electricity. One large building close to the entrance houses the reception and excellent sanitary facilities, all of which were in pristine condition. In high season, there is a weekly entertainment programme for youngsters. There is also a large children's playground with table tennis and a leisure corner for the older kids with a pool table and table football. You will also find a bar on site with an outdoor seating area that serves various snacks, including pizza, during high season. There is also a daily bread roll service here.
A path for walking and cycling runs alongside the campsite; maps are available in the Syndicat d’Initiative (Tourist Office) in the town centre. Diekirch, with its modern and ancient history, including recently discovered Roman remains, is well worth a visit. A concert is held in the town square every evening during the high season, and there are free guided walks twice monthly during July and August. Visitors to the campsite receive an information pack in their own language about Diekirch and Luxembourg.
